Sunscreen is an OTC drug: Sunscreen is considered an over-the-counter (OTC) drug. Due the special nature of OTC products, we worked with an FDA-approved partner to select a sunscreen product that we believe fits our client's busy lifestyle (i.e., invisible, no white cast, easily blends with existing face oil and makeup to effortlessly make sun protection a regular part of their daily routine).

Active Ingredients: Avobenzone, 3%, Homosalate 10%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 3%. For full list of all inactive ingredients, see actual packaging.

Use me: Apply daily as the last step in your skincare routine & before makeup. Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours. If swimming or sweating, reapply after 40 minutes. Helps prevent sunburn. If used as directed with other sun protection measures, decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.

Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: (1) limiting time in the sun, especially from 10am - 2pm, and (2) wearing hats, long-sleeve shirts, pants, and sunglasses.

Warnings: For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash, irritation or burning sensation occurs. When using this product, keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Children under 6 months: ask a doctor.

Shady Lady great primer

I received Shady Lady free with the purchase of my regular cleanser. I am glad I tried the promo. Shady Lady smells great. Its very fragrant. It you dont like that sort of thing, be mindful. It absorbs quickly into your skin, without residue and I can see the difference in texture and lines disappear when I apply it. It did well with temporary reducing the appearence of lines and pores, but my makeup didn't 'take' to it as well as other primers, which is fair, because it is a sunscreen an not necessarily made to be a primer. If you do use full face makeup, this would be great. Expensive for daily use though.

She’s my favorite!!

I struggle with acne and finding sunscreens that don’t clog my pores or make my breakouts look worse and after my first time trying this one I was hooked. I like that it’s clear so that it doesn’t cake up on my breakouts and there’s never any white cast or pilling. She also smells amazing like sweetarts. She’s also my current makeup primer. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I always hesitated putting sunscreen regularly on my face. Too chalky/leaving a white cast or I smelled like the beach. But no more - I LOVE the feel and smell of your Shady Lady. It's a regular part of daily routine! I tell all my friends about it.

No Shade From This Lady ;)

I’m on my third Shady Lady! It smells amazing, maybe a jolly rancher (that’s positive). Also, I thought because of the gel texture and it would feel sticky…. Not at all!! It leaves my skin with a visually smooth finish and is perfect under light summer makeup.

Goes on smoothly. No white residue like some sunscreens have.
